haha, this is a fair idea though. However I wonder where and how you are measuring the rocker, because that would make a difference.

Dunno haha, but I know it's more than the board I'm about to release on Axis which is 5.5cm (from tip to ground).

Yeah what Billy said was a little misleading because I think they just threw it on him without letting him know what the Tranq really was. To the naked eye it does just look like a bigger model of his board, but truth is it's quite different only the tip shape and bottom channels are the same. We both developed our boards separately and we both came up with similar tip shapes and outlines because that's what we liked the best.

Main differences between the two:
1. The outline of the Tranq is is wider and draws a straighter arc. This is for better low end performance, to get speed in-between kickers and to get more pop when other boards struggle.
2. The Tranq has a thicker full wood core (4mm) and a small amount of carbon. This is to eliminate torsional flex and cut out the flattening out effect that happens on a lot of kiteboards when you land. The board has a feel and flex that is very close to what a Hybrid LF wakeboard such as the Deluxe might feel like. (I think Billys board also has carbon, but I'm not sure).
3. Rocker 5.5cm. The rocker for my board is actually slightly less than what the regular Bootleg has. This is solely because I believe this number to be the exact right amount for a board like this. It's enough to ride really powered and land smooth off kickers, but also is fast enough to get the speed you need between them where a more rockered board will struggle. As Billys board has more flex, I think he needs slightly more rocker to make it work well.
4. Also the Tranq includes what I like to call "back-up inserts". I stuck an extra row of inserts in there so if you ever fuck one up you got a spare! The Billy board might now have this as well???

Basically if you want a bigger version of the Billy Pro the Tranq isn't it, however I'm sure if you tried the Tranq you would also really like it. Both boards are pretty sick but quite different at the same time.

The only Tranq size for now will be a 141 x 43.

p.s. I plan to do a small product video soon, so maybe that will give you a better look if you are interested.

Looks like you got your new ride Alex. Let's see this product video! [-o<

At 177cm and 72kgs i'm thinking the 141 might be pretty big in feel to my 139 pop, especially with those tips. Wouldn't mind a demo in Perth if they are floating around

yeah no idea how you're measuring because I've got the profanity V2 and when laying it on it's base and measuring tip to ground and on my garage floor its 6cm one side 6.6 the other so lets say 6.2/6.3 on average

Can people take photos of how they are doing this because I think the most of these measurements are way off.

just borrowed a profanity V3 to try

when i measured it and my V2 from 2012/13 i got this:
2012/13 V2 138 has ~65mm which is 2.55"
2014 V3 137 ~52-55mm which is 2.16"
Pro creator 139 looked like it was a good board, didn't measure it but it was probably around 48mm very thin rails though and not much in terms of bottom contours but looked worth riding for people who dont hit sliders that much and want a more efficient board.
