Hi troopers !

I'm building boards during my spare time, and I'm in the wakeskate fancy atm.

Got an idea today. I wondered if it could be fun launching a project like the following:

-I build a (sick ) wakeskate
-I send the skate to a scooper, for a month or so
-the scooper rides it, and then gives it to another scooper ( hand to hand, or by post)
-a month or so later, he gives it to another scooper
-and so on...

resulting in a sort of gypsy board, travelling around the scoop world...

-I'm not asking for anything in return, the only thing I want is the idea that a board is having fun around the world ( and maybe happy feet riding it! ), so that we can see spots, riders or anything. no brand advert, or sponsor shit behind that, just for fun. ride with a kite, winch, cable park, anything...

-in the principle, maybe only asking scoopers to make a photo of the board in different places, riding or not ( if not a riding pic: board + tight girl required for example ). or maybe a vid, if you're into it...

I've started building one, so I can make two in a row!



epoxy, airex foam, supa durable ABS sheet on the bottom for jib or slider stuff

tell me if you like the idea, or if it's just stupid (I think it could be fun !! )

It will take a few weeks before I build it. we could start by the end of january !

The only thing is: I won't be able to afford for the shipping every time it moves ! I can send it at the start, but then it's up to the rider to send it again, or to give it to another mate! ( so before you get it, you know you may have to pay for the shipping later )

my dream is to see it under skilled riders feet on sliders and stuff like that, but if you're a wakeskate beginner, it's good too (the aim is to get fun on a skate, only that )

The only thing I fear, is that someone keeps it too long or never send it again. I hope it can go on as long and as far as possible, and the ideal would be giving it hand to hand, or when traveling abroad with kiters goin on a kitetrip...

well, anyways, i'm happy some of you like the idea, I'm gonna do badass graphics, and put a scoop troop sticker on it !

What size do you want ? I won't have time to make concaves or fancy work on the bottom. Hope it's not necessary for a kite wakeskate.

If you got ideas for the outline, just feel free to tell me ( I think I know what to do, but if you have preference )
or just any preference, just tell me !

as for the deck, skate grip or epoxy grip (like on windsurf boards: windsurf board is ok ? just tell me! )

edit: I don't do it for testing purpose, I'm 100% underground amateur shaper, but having feedback is always awesome ! and good idea Da' Breadman to sent kites for testing !!!! we coud do a scoop lab !

Dude, I really like this idea. You should get everyone to draw or write or sign it with a location and keep it going. Thing would be a graffiti art piece.

My rocker table is nearly ready, but there won't be choice for rocker : 3 stage : fast in the middle + extra rocker on the tips
