Don't know if anyone's seen our new issue yet, but Kiteboarding mag's May issue is starting to show up in subscriber's hands, and will be on newsstands at the end of the month. As the world's first kiteboarding publication, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary with this May 2009 issue.

It is full of historic content including:

•Meet Your Makers: The 10 Most Influential People in the History of Kiteboarding.
•This is Your Life: 10 Bellwether Moments and Milestones that Define Our Sport.
•Best of Kiteboarding Magazine
•10 Years of Hot Gear
•Top 10 Tricks of All Time
•Editor's Recap: 10 Years, Five Editors and One Magazine That Ties Us All Together
•Lines: Past, Present & Future
•10 Years of Visions
•Lots of archived images.
•And more...

Anyway, just thought some of you might be interested, especially regarding who got the cover.

Who got to vote on all these top awards?? I havent seen the mag yet but honestly I predict it to be pretty weak!! Im sure you guys put a lot of work into it and stuff but from what i have seen of every kite magazine, any sort of thing you would choose to be in a top 10 would not be the most legit. But hey maybe i need to check it out first.

Rather than being hostile, maybe you should.

Kiteboarding is an American magazine. So is The Kiteboarder. The only UK kiting magazine that I'm aware of is KiteWorld.

Are you referring to Kiteboarding or The Kiteboarder?

This one I keep getting for free.

http://www.kiteboardingmag.com/in_this_ ... 1000068743

Its fucking lame. Yea, Morris in the cover doing a really ugly flat 3. Not sure why would somebody think this would be a cool cover. I am sure Morris can pull 3's way more legit than this crap.

This one is beyond lame.

Its funny that people buy this shit.

It's not really a flat 3, is the start of a MobyDick.
I kind liked, at least we got some bindings on the cover! and thanks for believing that i can do a legit 3!

Nice job on this months magazine!! Super flash back to the past issue for sure. It is kind of fun to remember what gear used to be like, especially since we have it soooo much better now.

The pickle fork, two line wipika's ...ugggh. makes me think of my time with a board leash, a shackle and a wrist leash. Was soo stoked to get my new SS torque LOL. Worst kite ever!!

I think its important to remember just how young are sport really is, how far we have come, and the folks that got us here. Riding huge waves on those older kites..man, that takes some balls for shure.

kudos on the mag!!
